What this actually is
This is a real piece of the work I do, recorded so you can do it on your own.
It's a series of eight guided trance journeys — about twenty-five to thirty minutes each, in my voice — that take you into your own inner world in a specific order, to do specific work. The first one teaches you the way in. The second one introduces you to a part of yourself who is on your side. From there, the journeys build — you meet the part that has been holding you back, you bring home a part you had set down, you go deeper to meet the wise figure who already knows, you stand at the threshold of the life you are meant to be living. Then you bring what you have found through into your actual life. And then you do the journey on your own, so the practice belongs to you.
It is not a meditation pack you dip into randomly. It is a structured journey through your own inner world, sequenced the way I would sequence it in a series of sessions — built so that what you do in one prepares the next.
You get instant access to all eight. The series is designed to be done one a week, in order — that's the rhythm that makes the work hold — but if you'd rather move faster or slower, the pacing is yours. You'll own the recordings; you can return to any of them, anytime.
The eight journeys
1. Crossing the Threshold.
Going into your own inner world deliberately, for the first time, as a real place. Locating it. Standing in it. Finding the way back. The foundation everything else rests on.
2. Meeting an Inner Ally.
Going back in to find and befriend one of the parts of you who is on your side — a steady, wise, kind figure who has been waiting to be met.
3. The Part That's Been Fighting You.
Meeting the part that has been holding you in place — and discovering it has been protecting you. Listening to it instead of fighting it.
4. The Disowned Self.
Going to find a part of yourself you set down somewhere along the way — to survive, to fit in, to grow up — and welcoming it home.
5. The Wise Elder.
Descending deeper to meet the oldest figure inside you. Asking one question. Receiving one answer.
6. The Threshold to the Next Life.
Standing at the doorway you have been standing at for some time, and looking across it — seeing the next true shape of you, already partly built.
7. Integration.
Bringing one of the figures you have met through into a real situation from your actual life. The work of the through-line.
8. Returning.
Doing the journey on your own, with very little from me. By the end, the practice is yours.
What you'll come away with
A real practice. By the end of the series, you'll know how to enter your own inner world, meet what is there, do the work, and come back — on your own, without me, anytime you need to.
Relationships with the figures inside you. Most people walk through their lives never having met the steady part of themselves, never having befriended the part that has been holding them back, never having brought a disowned piece home. By the end of these eight journeys, you will have.
A different relationship to what has been stuck. The part of you that has felt like an obstacle — the fear, the freeze, the block — will no longer be an enemy. It will be a figure you have met, heard, and started to know.
A practice you can return to. The recordings are yours. You'll come back to specific ones, as needed, for the rest of your life.
What this is and isn't
This is for you if you are curious about your own inner world and willing to spend half an hour a week, for eight weeks, going inward and taking honestly whatever you find. If you are at a threshold — sensing a different life, unable to reach it on your own — and you want a real, structured practice for doing the work.
It is not for you if you want a method you can run on yourself, or a hack, or a productivity tool dressed up as inner work. This isn't that. It doesn't add anything to you. It introduces you to what is already there.
And it is not a substitute for live work. The recording can take you in. What it cannot do is respond, in real time, to what shows up — adapt to your specific landscape, hold the harder figures with you, build the journey out of your particular life. That is what the deep session is for, and it is mentioned at the end of this page. For many people, the Foundations series is enough on its own. For some, it prepares them for the deep session. Both are real outcomes.
One thing, and it's about safety, not fit. This is trance work. It goes inward, and inward work needs steady ground underneath it. If you are in crisis right now, or you have a history of psychiatric hospitalization or manic episodes, this is not the right thing for you — and that's not a judgment. It is not a substitute for psychiatric or crisis care. If that is where you are, get the right support first.
Who made this
I'm Alex. I have been practicing hypnotherapy for thirteen years, and never found a reason to stop. The credentials are real — consulting hypnotist, master practitioner of NLP — and the certificates are on the innergeni.us site if you want to check them. But the credentials are not what I'm asking you to trust.
What I'm asking you to trust is that I have a gift for this work. I don't say it lightly. I say it because thirteen years of practice has shown me what I can do in there with a person — and because everything else in my life points at it. Alongside Western hypnotherapy, I have spent decades in serious, committed practice with multiple traditions of African, Asian, and Latin American healing and folk magical tradition. I bring the intuition and insight that only walking with one foot in the other world can teach.
The Foundations series is the self-guided version of that work — the part you can do with just my voice. It's the practice. The deep session is the live, accompanied version. Both are real things. Start where you want.

Honest questions
How long does it take?
About half an hour per journey, and the series is designed to be done one a week for eight weeks. You can move faster or slower if you want — the recordings are yours and the pacing is up to you. The eight-week rhythm is what I find works best.
Do I need any background in this kind of work?
No. You don't need a belief system, you don't need to have done inner work before, and you don't need to understand depth psychology or IFS. You only need to be willing to turn your attention inward for half an hour, eight times, and take honestly whatever you find.
What if I don't see or feel anything?
Something usually does come, though not always loudly the first time. The inner world responds to repeated attention — the second visit is usually thicker than the first, and the third thicker still. If a journey is quiet for you, that's information, not failure. Most people get more from their second pass through the series than from their first.
Is this therapy?
No. It is an experience and a structured practice — a piece of the work I do, recorded so you can do it on your own. It is not therapy, not medical treatment, and not a substitute for either.
Can I do the series more than once?
Yes, and many people do. The journeys deepen with return. Specific ones — the wise elder, the threshold — become places you go back to as your life changes.
How is this different from the $27 Meeting an Inner Ally?
The $27 journey is one of the eight in this series — Meeting an Inner Ally is Journey 2. The series includes it, plus seven more. If you have already bought the $27 standalone, write to me and I'll credit it toward the series upgrade.
What's the deep session I keep hearing about?
The Foundations series is the self-guided practice. The deep session is the live version of how I work — one long session, in person or online, where I go into the inner world with you. Built from your specific life, custom to you alone. Many people do the Foundations series and find it is enough on its own. Some do the series and then book the deep session as the next step. Both are real outcomes.
You can keep standing at the threshold of the life you are meant to be living, hoping the courage will arrive on its own. Most people do. They live decades in that posture.
Or you can spend half an hour a week, for eight weeks, going inward — deliberately, with a guide who has done this for thirteen years — and meet what is already in you, waiting for the permission to move.
That is what this series is for.
If you finish the series and want the live version of the work — the long, accompanied session in your own inner world, built from your specific life — that door is here when you're ready: innergeniushypnosis.com. The first step is a free, honest conversation about whether the session is the right fit for you. No pitch.
